If you can go somewhere else do it! The worse attention ever! I can hear the other patients near me complain about the same thing. The need a new staff asap!
The staff were very nice indeed and i did get helped fast only spent 1hr and 30 mins in there, but my only thing about it is i went there because of my knee and instead of finding the problem they just took xrays say if my knee was broken it wasnt btw, and give me meds and just sent me out WALKING!!!
Don't go here. Multiple HIPAA \ HITECH violations, terrible treatment, bad communication, will discuss openly in front of other patients all PHI. Wait was so terrible on a mid-day mid-morning that patients were spilling over to non-patient areas for triage. Witnessed blood spilled onto family waiting area chairs with no method performed to clean it up. Florida Hospital is a good system, but this hospital will kill you. Go to another hospital if you value your health or privacy.
Florida Hospital is the worse hospital system I have ever encountered. Same with their 7th Day Adventists Church. My daughter went to their summer camp as child. They treated her horribly. Made her do laps around the cabin whenever she did something they did not like. When I worked at FLNC, one of the patients, that attended their "church", said, "we could destroy you if we want". At that time I did not realize the circumstance of all that had occurred. Hence, I was Baker Acted each time I went to the ER at Apopka by a Edgardo Rodriguez with no license to practice medicine in the U.S. He was from Puerto Rico. The last time I visited there, they were getting ready to proceed (I was there due to an auto accident) when it was discovered I had a fractured sternum. I was quickly treated, and released home early the next morning, to walk home.
Can't wait for Florida Hospital's new facility on Ocoee-Apopka Rd to open its doors!
