Clean bathrooms and sites. Fairly close access to Disney. Our family enjoyed our spot.
Beautiful pool! Had it 'll to myself yesterday. Clean clear warm water. ☺ Staff here is outstanding, very accommodating and friendly. I have disability and they fulfilled my site request and made sure their staff knew that my dog was a service dog. I have only been here a few days, but I feel so comfortable here.
The owners and staff work like Missouri mules at keeping up this place.
We spent a month here when grandchild #4 was born. The bath house, pool area, grounds are all impeccable. This is not the fanciest KOA, but it is ideally located. Yes there is traffic, but that is the cost of proximity and ease of access to so much.
We decided to move down here permanently. We have been staying at this KOA for 6 weeks so far, and it will be about another week before we can move in to our new home. We have not been disappointed. Not for a second have we regretted staying here again. Rob and Brenda are the salt of the Earth!
For tent camping it not the best option. Tent sites are right off the campground road and right next to a small fence with an active road on the other side. There is no scenary or wooded coverage, so the site is very out in the open. This campground is more suited for RVS. The pool was very nice and the playground had limited equipment. The bathrooms were very clean and well kept, however the cleaning schedule needs to be updated. They closed down the bathrooms for deep cleaning (which plays into why the bathrooms are so nice), however they closed both mens and women's restrooms from 11am-1pm. With checkout being at noon we were unable to shower as planned before leaving. Maybe for those with RVS this is a non-issue, as they have built in bathrooms but for tent camping this is a problem. Like I said, this place is more geared towards accommodating RVS.
